The purpose of the WSBRC shall be:
A. To support the objectives and policies of the Republican State and National
Committees, to work for the election of the Republican Party Nominees
and encourage the election of Black Republicans to political office who support
the purposes and objectives of WSBRC.
B. To coordinate the affairs and business of WSBRC, to adopt Bylaws by which the
Coalition shall be governed, to perform all duties delegated by law and rules not
prohibited by the Republican State parties and such other duties not prohibited by
law or the Republican party.
C. To provide an atmosphere for creative discussion and an opportunity to educate Black
Americans about the inner workings of local, state and national elective politics.
D. To increase Black Americans access to economic opportunity in a capitalist economy.
E. To increase the effectiveness of Blacks in the cause of good government.
F. To benefit the general welfare of Western States’ Black Republican groups, clubs,
organizations and individuals.
G. To officially represent the interest of Black Republicans in the Western United States.
H. To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and work for the advancement of the party
Principles and candidates in all elections, including non-partisan elections, who
support the purposes and objectives of WSBRC.
I. To reassess and review the fundamental principles of the Republican Party as they
apply to economic, social and political issues affecting Black Republicans in the Western United States.
J. To promote the Historical education of Black Americans history within the Republican
Party on a local and national level.
